Sixth grade, and I'm still bitter!DangAndBlast!https://www.blogger.com/profile/11204540335903358779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-3812022687126307582011-11-17T22:46:12.070+00:002011-11-17T22:46:12.070+00:00I suppose teachers are like the rest of the human ...I suppose teachers are like the rest of the human race, and it takes all kinds... But most are good at their jobs - except for the maths and science teachers we had. But I still recall one teacher's put-down of my class - "'you are silly, soppy, sentimental sorts."persiflagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05161607100227748374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-67979033553827103132011-11-17T16:41:55.156+00:002011-11-17T16:41:55.156+00:00It's fascinating, the carelessly tossed remark...It's fascinating, the carelessly tossed remarks that stick with us our entire lives. Not all of my teachers appreciated me. When I became a teacher I had a special place in my heart for the hyperactive kids, frequently the most interesting.Mac n' Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05732924562630675589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-41524589774540069562011-11-17T04:12:02.349+00:002011-11-17T04:12:02.349+00:00I can still remember some of the humiliations visi...I can still remember some of the humiliations visited on me at school, and it was a thousand years ago. I remember one particular classmate of TheFirstChild's -- from early on, he was labeled the troublemaker. He was actually a fun and creative kid, but the teachers couldn't ever see that -- they wanted perfectly behaved children. If only more teachers thought like you!Thimbleannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03650582809426872051noreply@blogger.com
