An Aunt introduced me to the term "Chinglish" which is poorly worded English on signs in China. So maybe your note was Swisslish?Stomper Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04038937073264645029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-34139589165584504422014-10-01T20:29:39.135+01:002014-10-01T20:29:39.135+01:00How stunning, both pictures 1 and 2. A bit worried about the swimmers, though - I don't think the operators of large vessels would be able to see them, would they?Marchelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11201825708442679157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-17473239901860929562014-10-01T03:21:37.808+01:002014-10-01T03:21:37.808+01:00I laughed more at Jennifer's comment about &qu...I laughed more at Jennifer's comment about "English as she is not quite spoke" than at the mangled notice.....Love that first picture.
When we lived in Germany and our children got up in the dark to go to swim team practice before school, elderly Germans also came to the pool, in the dark, sometimes in their robes and slippers, to have their morning swim in cold water. Paul offered to help her with it, but she was sure she knew better than he did. I think it is sometimes a strange matter of pride.

I should think all those swimmers died of hypothermia shortly after you took that photo.Thickethouse.wordpresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17187303460677067276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-4063078446075790482014-09-30T06:06:51.193+01:002014-09-30T06:06:51.193+01:00Rather them than me.......I bet that water is neve...Rather them than me.......I bet that water is never ~quite~ warm!
