I'm teaching a child who, at 6 1/2, is still writing 'den' because that's how he says it, and when I've corrected him he says "ththththththththth" so it spits all over the place! I'm trying to hang on to the big stuff and leave it be. Recently he can go back and check if I ask him to look for a word he hasn't got quite right, so that's an improvement. I love reading of his creativity and enthusiasm.Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06864657381173674455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-90732489312359810362016-11-07T18:44:14.316+00:002016-11-07T18:44:14.316+00:00He is a smart boy!He is a smart boy!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-9920569307804596932016-11-07T16:22:29.095+00:002016-11-07T16:22:29.095+00:00Hahaha -- you're not going to get ahead of Lit...Hahaha -- you're not going to get ahead of Little N -- what a little cutie! Instead of 'Do you know?' . The next time I started a sentence that way I remembered just in time and changed what I was going to say to 'Judith told me...'. My mother knew she had been outsmarted but couldn't say anything because I had a friend called Judith.Lucillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414527658216916537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23379328.post-875325330615891752016-11-06T04:58:15.435+00:002016-11-06T04:58:15.435+00:00What a very creative child!
