A year ago today was such a happy day: the wedding of Daughter 1 to her lovely young man. They spent the day with us today, which was very pleasant indeed. These are our three beloved children on that day. They are such nice young people: kind and loving and funny.
Thanks for sharing the good memories!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family you have! Such a pleasure to see these photos.
ReplyDeleteIsn't photography the best invention ever? What a lovely family you have. Now where is Isabelle?? Even though your Dad is gone [may he rest in peace] you'll always have him in pictures and the memories they invoke. And he looks so dashing in his kilt. My oldest son has always had a hankering for a kilt, but we warn him about how cold his "jewels" would get....
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, gorgeous people!
ReplyDeleteYoung and old: all beautiful.
Happy anniversary to the couple. I love looking at old photos, even if they do make my eyes teary from the memories.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos Isobelle.
ReplyDeleteYour children are beautiful.
Your mother is gorgeous, & how wonderful your dad looked in his kilt!
Thanks for sharing them with us.
How special that your father was alive and at the wedding. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteYour mother is VERY glamorous, I agree. I think your father matched her glamour with his kilt too.
ReplyDeleteHi Isabelle
ReplyDeleteI've just read through your posts and I'm so sorry to read about your Dad. It must be a very tough time for you.
But I have to say that I've really enjoyed reading most of your posts about what you've been up to. I hope to drop by more often from now on! Els
Beautiful photos Isabelle and always such a comfort and delight to be transported back to other happy times in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI love my husband, I really do. But I have to confess I was a bit disappointed to find out he was Greek not not a Scotsman. I have always found men in kilts very sexy, and I just love the ones that get married in them.
ReplyDeletemmm mmm mmmmmmmm
Yes.. you parents made a striking couple..! Very well dressed and distinguished if I may say on that occasion! Your children are lovely too.. and so nice that you are proud of who they are and you seem to be delighted by them! My parents-in-law recently were forced to put an intervention (restraining) order on their 45 year old daughter (who is a mother of 7 children). It broke their heart for them to do it.. but they had to. You are blessed with your children Isabelle!
ReplyDeleteMy dad's family is Scottish; your dad looks very fine in his kilt. Your mom is indeed an elegant woman! What a beautiful family you have. I was sorry to read about your father's death; your tribute to him was wonderful.
