Wilting

I've been in the study most of the day (and quite a lot of the previous days) fighting with the computer in the attempt to arrange the church magazine, which is more complicated than usual this month. I think I may have won the fight.

But look at Grandson! Isn't he delicious? Aren't all babies delicious? The shiny eyes; the bouncy faces; the hopeful expressions; the squashy limbs.

  1. He certainly is! He`s growing well and looks very contented. I love his stripy shoes.

  2. I sympathise with the wrestling with the computer, having spent time last week during just that, and having to call for expert filial help.
Your grandson is just lovely, and looks very well fed. How he has grown! The stars and stripy leg and foot great are great.

    Yes, he is absolutely delicious!
    - and at the risk of offending the father, doesn't he look like his mother?
    Love the socks and boots.

  9. Sorry, Veg Artist, it was I who lost your comment. I posted and then I realised that I'd forgotten to shrink the picture so I deleted the post and redid it, not realising that I'd also deleted your comment. Well, I realised too late.

Haggis? Actually, once he eats anything but milk, he's going to be brought up pescatarian - eating no meat, but fish. SIL is pescatarian and Daughter 1 is vegetarian. I'm not quite sure about this - I'm veggie myself but didn't bring the kids up veggie (though both daughters became so) but - anyway. Maybe they'll give him veg haggis.

  10. he is a yummy baby boy...

and i actually know what a pescatarian is without having to look it up - Hell's Kitchen really IS educational (besides learning to ways to phrase bad words), you know!

  11. Just looking at that photo makes you smile doesn't it?

  12. He looks about a year older than he ought to be, he was only born five minutes ago and he's all big and bouncy and smiley... I'm sure he'll thrive on his pescatarian diet.

  13. He's SO cute Isabelle -- it makes me just want to squeal! He seems to be growing so quickly too -- aren't you glad you're retired now and can see him more often?
