Well, this morning - since there was nothing urgent to do (unfortunately) - Daughter 1 and I went to the garden centre to have coffee and to look at the plants. It was lucky that Grandson had his boots on, because he discovered a magnificently muddy puddle. He went to and ...
... fro...
and had a simply LOVELY time
going to and ...
... fro.
Eventually we persuaded him to leave his puddle...
... but then he decided to return to it. (Can you see him above, disappearing into the middle distance?)
Later, he found some nice crunchy gravel...
... and some animals. He rehearsed his animal impressions: woof-woof, grunt-grunt, me-e-eh, mooooo and so on.
That's the news so far. Ho hum.
Oh, not ho hum at all! What a lovely outing, and so delightful to see how easily he appreciates the small things. May it always be so!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, the wonders of a puddle. Little grandson looks adorable, as always. This waiting is starting to get to me -- I can't imagine what it's doing to you and K LOL!
ReplyDeleteCUTE!! I love his grin in picture 3! xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wee guy; he looks completely oblivious to the massive change about to come into his life!
ReplyDeleteNever mind. Soon grandson will have another new noise to practise - Waaa, waa, waa!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm significantly older than grandson and I still love puddles--when I have the right foot coverings!
ReplyDeleteAs to the significant event, Hurry up!
Your grandson is such a delight! He could warm a frozen boulder into a smile.
ReplyDeleteStill no sign of the new baby?
ReplyDeleteVery cute as usual! I'm glad for you that you have good news in the offing when it happens. I've had three deaths of rellies and friends so far in two months. No babies on the horizon to make up for the losses though.
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely smile!
ReplyDeleteWaiting anxiously ( expectantly ) for other News ( as no doubt you are too! )
