Cassie being rudely awakened.
You're a cat and someone has left a newspaper and a bag of rolls on the table in the kitchen, where you spend the night in your basket. Well, they think you spend the night in your basket. Once you've settled down last night, they come back in unexpectedly and find you like this. So? You're entitled to a sheet and a pillow, aren't you? You're a person, after all.
We're going to the Festival Fringe show tonight that Daughter 2's actor boyfriend is in. Bit nervous about it. Don't think it's going to be my thing, and he's just apologised in advance in case it isn't, so he presumably feels the same. Hmm. It starts at 11.15 pm, too, which isn't great.
Still, my biggest agapanthus is looking good, don't you think? I know they grow like weeds in Australia, but this is Scotland. It rains a lot, especially recently.
The flowers look wonderful! I just love them!
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun tonight!! :)
I hope the performance went well and was enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it isn't possible to relate to others' interests, but it's nice that they have them and can pursue them nevertheless. (That's how I feel about my husband's car collection.)
Hope you enjoyed your night out it started very late? Your flowers are nice I have them in my garden too. They are nice when in flower.
ReplyDeleteHugs Mary.
Cass really looks as if she had five legs in that picture. I know one of them must be a tail, but still.
ReplyDeleteHaha -- poor little Cassie -- can't get sleep anywhere! Your flowers are just beautiful! Blue flowers are my favorite but I don't have any -- just don't see them much around here!
ReplyDeleteFreaky five legged cat!
ReplyDeleteAlso, they don't just grow like weeds, they ARE weeds I'm afraid. 'Noxious weeds', according to the local council.
I am chuckling about the prospect of the Fringe Play and the fact he's apologised in advance.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue flowers. Hope it's not a blue performance..
ReplyDeleteCheeky puss! And your agapanthus are glorious - I've never managed to grow them.
ReplyDeleteSo, do we get a review of the show?
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the play.
ReplyDeleteAnd the agapathus are very lovely, they do like a bit of rain I thought.
I do hope you are ok.
:-)
Aha! Caught in the act! But,as you pointed out, a person is entitled to a sheet and a pillow....Beautiful flower. I'm pretty sure my mother grew them.....There have to be SOME compensations for enduring so much rain. Here it is a struggle to have any colour in the garden in summer. It all gets fried....
ReplyDeleteHow was the late show? Love Agapanthas but keep them under control! (you don't want them to take over the land like here!)
ReplyDeleteLove the stories about the kids and what they encounter.
I love that cat, they are so independent, my Melodie that I loved has pqssed away a year ago, the flowers are very pretty, just stopping by to say Hi.
ReplyDeleteMy agapanthus look like weeds compared to your beauty; it's probably your rainfall. I think they are native to South Africa, and Australians have assumed they will grow equally as well here. Grow yes, but not necessarily flower as well.
ReplyDeleteDarling Catlet - Topsy starts her night off in her basket but is rarely there the next morning.
