Hello again

We're back! Thank you so much for your birthday and holiday wishes. We had a nice time but the weather was a bit British.

This is the view from the café at the St Ives Tate Gallery in Cornwall.

This is Beer, in Devon.
I'm sure you can't wait to see the rest of my holiday snaps, but meanwhile: what have you all been doing? Off I go to find out...

  1. I'm not here to read right now, unfortunately, but I'll come back soon and catch up.
Just replying to your comment: Which garden shall I parcel up first? I'd be ever so grateful if you'd weed it and thin out some perennials, and then plant some languishing annuals...and then you could send it back all neat and tidy. Doesn't that sound tempting? Do we have a deal? :)
If you come in person we could weed together, and then have a cuppa! Pop right over when you have a moment.

  2. P.S. I'm off to the grindstone again. Weeding and planting this afternoon. Just finished watering and feeding containters. I'm a slave to the garden! Still want it?
I must admit though, it's a labour of love :)

  5. So glad you're back safe and well Isabelle. I've missed reading about all things Life for the last couple of weeks. I've had an accident and broken my wrist quite badly so am currently convalescing. Looking forwards to seeing lovely snaps from Devon and Cornwall, where I spent many summer holidays as a child.

  9. A town called "Beer", hmmm? Is it full of young men? Sounds like the kind of place the young men I know would flock to!

  13. Well, "British" or not it looks as though you had at least one decent day.

It's been foul here but, typically, quite pleasant now that Monday morning has rolled by!
