1. Eat a cheese scone (not pictured).
2. Ride on the caterpillar in the café play area.
3. Play in the play house.
4. See if the Aeolian harp is sounding. (It never is, except once - we were so excited.)
5. Get wet by running too near the sprinklers.
6. Visit the glasshouses.
7. Stand on lots of rocks.
There are also lots of plants to admire, should you happen not to be four. But on the whole, being four appears to be fun.
She is adorable and always seems so happy.
ReplyDeleteWe're in London with our 4yr old grandaughter. She's loving every bit of it, especially the underground! Wonderful to see everything with fresh eyes.

ReplyDeleteI cannot believe how she has grown. She'll be at school before you know it. Lovely to have this time with her.
ReplyDeleteHa! Lucille got in before me - she's suddenly sprouted - or does the camera lie? Not many spring flowers in sight yet - are you too far north for Spring to have sprung yet? Tomorrow is our day to have our just-turned-two grandson, and we're planning what to do in the expected wet weather. A trip to the local library for Storytime perhaps, or to our national museum for their StoryPlace, which is a 45 minute mixture of activities and stories, the new theme being Once Upon a Time. At two, learning about make believe/ reality is still a new concept. We'll see how he goes!
ReplyDeleteAren't grandchildren pure magic!!
It does, indeed...
ReplyDeleteHer face is always so full of joy! She must be such a delight to spend time with. :)
ReplyDeleteFour. I just can't believe it. Wasn't she just born? She's sure a doll -- how fun to be able to spend so much time with you!
ReplyDeleteShe seems to be so tall, suddenly. What joy she shows.
