Can't imagine why not... um. Ok, well, yes I can. I get offered the ones about Dealing with Diabetes and Coping with Grief. Which if I didn't only work in surgery, might at least have a point, but since I do, don't.
Dear Isabelle, I'm sure your sock drawer is immaculate and can't need tidying. But even so, it must be more compelling than this. Having been a teacher for over twenty years, this seminar tempts me to respond to the rhetorical question with, "who cares?" !! as I think of the spotty, messy, funny, engaging reality of my classroom.
When I read the title of this post and saw the Cats immediately under it, my first thought was 'how can you resist such an invitation to pat such lovely pussies?' Then I read the actual post and realised that the invitation did not apply to them at all. I'd stay home and pat Cats anyway.
thanks for your comment on my blog. If you can leave one on mine with your email addy (I moderate comments, so I won't publish it) I can reply via email rather than publicly by comment. Or you can use the email addy on my blog, if you'd rather. Cheers!

ReplyDeleteHahaha -- what? You have something better to do??? You're a funny, funny girl Ms. Isabelle!
ReplyDeleteWhy ever would you pass up such a wonderful opportunity??
ReplyDeleteOh god, that sounds like the course I took in the summer. I'm sure you have better (and more fun) things to do!
ReplyDeleteDo you get a tote, mug, or ink pen inscribed with the name of the seminar if you go? If so, go you must.
ReplyDeleteI'd love it and sign up right away.
ReplyDeleteOh dear lord...
ReplyDeletelife's too short.
Next week I have a two hour session on bankruptcy law. Wanna swap?
ReplyDeleteAmazing - I can't think how you can pass on an opportunity like that!!

Sounds supremely resistible . Anything connected with Pedagogy always does .
ReplyDeletePatting the cats would be much more rewarding.
