This post is for the benefit of Suse, Mrs Pea Soup, who kindly thought of me in her June 15 post (http://peasoupoftheday.blogspot.com/). She was wondering what the word “Gorgonzola” would sound like in an Edinburgh accent. She was having an uneventful day, I imagine.
I thought I should oblige. I had to rope in some technical assistance. Sirius provided the eye candy.
Hahaha! You're AWESOME Isabelle! That's just too cool -- I'll have to remember to come back here and see what Suse has to say -- I'm sure she'll be thrilled. So fabulous to hear your beautiful voice -- along with those of Mr. and Daughter Life!!!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous you all are!
ReplyDelete(And Sirius too...)
That made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes. I can't quite believe you did that just for me. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteYou all sound so wonderful. And Sirius is the perfect accompaniment.
GORGONZOLA! Fabuloso!

GORGONZOLA! Fabuloso!
So happy I had to say it twice apparently.
ReplyDeleteSorry.
I am so glad you're done with marking and can make this! It was wonderful and started my day with a smile! :) Thanks for... cheeses! :)
ReplyDeleteOh funny! Gorgonzola was definitely the best. You sound a bit like an old Linguaphone record!
ReplyDeleteThat was very kind, and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I am shrieking with laughter here too. You all sound perfect. It is the thought of the 3 of you standing there reciting the names which has me in stitches! Maybe we should try some more subjects too!
ReplyDeleteYou are a very humorous family! My husband just bought a video camera, I foresee similar shenanigans in our future.
ReplyDeleteLaughing here too! Not to mention how my mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteThere's certainly something about a UK accent....
ReplyDeleteoh!!! Awesome! Wonderful!! That was reallly really funny.
ReplyDeleteI have tears in my eyes from laughing also!
Your'e all so LOVELY.
Hasn't Sirius grown?
I think you should do a series, a different topic each week...
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat!
ReplyDeleteYou are a technological marvel!
ReplyDeleteDo you take requests?
Beautiful. Somehow the cat goes with the cheeses.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandma came from Aberfoyle and I reckon she would have rolled the R in Gorgonzola just a bit. 55 years in Australia didn't wreck her lovely Scottish consonants and vowels at all.
I love it! Your blog is always delightful.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant.. I love the internet, and its ability to allow all sorts of little worlds to collide!
ReplyDeleteThat is so good! I'm going to be hearing 'gorgonzola' over and over in my head all day today.
ReplyDelete...and if you're thinking of starting a series, I'm sure the two doctors of your house reciting diseases would be most excellent!
ReplyDeletethat's awesome....love that you did that for suse....:-)
