Wanted!

I went to the dentist in town this afternoon and afterwards walked up to George Street to meet Mr Life so that we could go home together. This poster was stuck to a letter box.

It says:

Have you seen this girl?

Then please tell her she is perfect *

[then in handwriting at the bottom]

* and that I'm sorry.

I hope it worked. I think.

  1. Awww. I love it. But it also inspires curiosity... what did he do? Will she forgive him? :)

Oh dear! Desperate measures? He better be willing to do the washing and the cleaning for at least a month too.

  3. What tale hangs there, I wonder?

  4. Hmmm. We should all make up a story to fit that poster---wouldn't that be fun? It would be fascinating to see what twists people would put on it and what kind of endings there'd be!

  5. That is so sweet!!!
That definitely deserves to have a story written to go with it.

  6. How sweet!!

Oh I hope she forgave him, I do.

It would be nice to invent a story about that poster, wouldn't it? I know so many tales of love lost over so many stupid little things...I hope they find each other again safely.

  7. How romantic - it would be nice to think it worked but he's probably a deranged stalker!!

Oooops, did I get out of bed on the wrong side this morning??

    Awww, sweeet.

  9. Nice to know romance isn't dead!

  10. Yup, romantic. But I think that's a bad thing. Hope she sticks to her decision and sees this for the grand selfish gesture it likely is.

  11. On one hand very romantic, on the other there's a chance that it's too little, too late and the fact that he's hunting her down is creeping her out

  12. Hmmm, I can't quite decide whether this is sweet or icky and slightly scary. Am I just too cynical?

  13. So Sweet! When TheManoftheHouse and I were first married, there was an add in the local paper that said something like this:
    Anna
    I Love You
    Jim
    (Please Come Home)
    Fortunately, it wasn't us!

  14. Well, a bit tacky. And wouldn't you be embarrassed to see yourself plastered up in public like that??
Like Loth, I'm probably just being cynical!
