A big gap between posts because Daughter 2 and Littlest Granddaughter are here, which is lovely, and I can't waste a moment of this time blogging. Well, perhaps one moment. I finished the ice cream quilt just after they arrived. It's a bit mad but quite satisfying. Does it remind me of a colour chart?
But she models the quilt very nicely.
Awww, what a great picture of your doll and your quilt. It turned out great and it looks so cozy!!! So happy you're getting some time with Littlest -- she's adorable and getting so big. Isn't it amazing how much time and energy they take?

ReplyDeleteLovely to have them with you at last. I have been being organised by a granddaughter for six years now. But she is growing up and with school back in full swing with many other extracurricular activities I see this phase fast becoming a memory. Luckily I can be organised by grandson now but unlike for you, I think that will be the full complement of grandchildren needing us.
ReplyDeleteIsn’t she delicious! I know what you mean about being organised by them! I get told “You sit here, Grandma” to help with puzzles but I love it! Congratulations on the scrappy quilt, it’s turned out very well. The echoing of the colours around the border is very clever.
