Where have we been?

We've been away for a week. At first the weather was as above...

... and then it improved somewhat, though frankly it was still a bit chilly and wet at times.
No time to write more just now. I'm looking forward to reading what you've all been up to.
But come on, someone. Where do you think we were staying?

  1. OH! That first picture took my breath away, it's so beautiful. Like icing sugar.

What a shame you can't wake up to that all the time, so pretty.

I hope you had a good holiday.

  8. I think it'd be safe to say it's NOT the south of France? But it is beautiful wherever it is, and probably, brrrrr, cold. Hope you had a lovely time.....

  13. It reminds me of the Cotswolds, but I'm sure it couldn't have been that snowy! It looks lovely anyway.

  15. I don't know where you've been and I can't even guess because I've only been to London in the UK. But it looks lovely... even with the snow. Soooo... tell us. I can't stand not knowing.

    Hugs,

  16. That first photo is beautiful, but I'd prefer the scene from "inside" as I don't really like the snow.

I'm going to guess somewhere in the Cotswolds. Wherever it is, it's very picturesque - reminds me a bit of Broadway (in the Cotswolds, not New York - lol).

  17. It all looks exotic to me - so no guess from me. Wherever you were I hope you had a wonderful time! Is there more to come?

  19. I am confused! Lots of snow. No snow ,no leaves on the trees, but a crop of what look like sunflowers in the field behind the house.
