We've been away for a week. At first the weather was as above...
... and then it improved somewhat, though frankly it was still a bit chilly and wet at times.
No time to write more just now. I'm looking forward to reading what you've all been up to.
But come on, someone. Where do you think we were staying?
OH! That first picture took my breath away, it's so beautiful. Like icing sugar.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame you can't wake up to that all the time, so pretty.
I hope you had a good holiday.
Beautiful! Cold, but beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful both ways.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering where you had got to! The sun is shining here today and let's hope it lasts!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good time, cold weather seems to be doing everybody's heads in...
ReplyDeleteYay! You're back -- I've been wondering where my favorite catlet Mama has been! I hope you had a wonderful getaway!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't notice that question when I last visited, but at a very ill informed guess I would say...
ReplyDeleteEngland????
ha.
How about Norfolk. heh.
um. The Lakes District?
Wales??
I give in.
I think it'd be safe to say it's NOT the south of France? But it is beautiful wherever it is, and probably, brrrrr, cold. Hope you had a lovely time.....
ReplyDeleteVery picturesque, wherever it was.
ReplyDeleteI give up. Where have you been?
ReplyDeleteAnd glad to see you back.
Oh I'm hopeless at guessing, wherever it was the scenery is beautiful. Hope you enjoyed yourself
ReplyDeleteKimx
Oooh, a guessing game! I am going to be weird and say Belgium. It looks lovely, wherever it is!
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the Cotswolds, but I'm sure it couldn't have been that snowy! It looks lovely anyway.
ReplyDeleteSomewhere lovely that I know I haven't been!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where you've been and I can't even guess because I've only been to London in the UK. But it looks lovely... even with the snow. Soooo... tell us. I can't stand not knowing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Joni
That first photo is beautiful, but I'd prefer the scene from "inside" as I don't really like the snow.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess somewhere in the Cotswolds. Wherever it is, it's very picturesque - reminds me a bit of Broadway (in the Cotswolds, not New York - lol).
It all looks exotic to me - so no guess from me. Wherever you were I hope you had a wonderful time! Is there more to come?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine where you were, but your photos assure me that it was somewhere lovely ...
ReplyDeleteI am confused! Lots of snow. No snow ,no leaves on the trees, but a crop of what look like sunflowers in the field behind the house.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sight we don't see here, well not from whre I live. Maybe England.......
ReplyDeleteMaybe flanders.
