Yes, I know that the point of Easter isn't just chocolate eggs and cake. But they're rather good.
Here are some spring flowers from the garden.
And some eggs hanging from my shelves.
And an egg tree. I always used to cut a branch and hang my eggs from it, but this one is frankly less of a fiddle.
This chicken is rather fetching, don't you think?
And some eggs on a string, hanging outside the dining room door.
Happy Easter, one and all - even if you're just in it for the chocolate.
Oh, I love your flowers!
ReplyDeleteAnd I really like your chicken.
I like the fact that you have Ester decorations, and am also admiring your teapots.
ReplyDelete*Easter* decorations, not Ester.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! I'm so impressed that you have your Easter decorations out. The only thing I pulled out was the little bunny in the car. Looks like you had a good Easter -- your cake looks yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cake with its nest of eggs looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIsabelle, it seems that you really, really like Easter. And what lovely flowers. Do your cats like chocolate?
ReplyDeleteI love your decorations!! I would have much more of them myself if only we had more space.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteOne Easter I made a charming straw nest filled with chocolate eggs for the centre of the dining table, only to find a pet bantam had taken over.
ReplyDeletelove the chicken.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the chicken ...
ReplyDeleteWANT the chicken ...
Will swap several birds for said chicken.
Your puddy tats would be very happy.
Your easter cake looks verrrrrry tempting. I bet it didn't last long!
ReplyDeleteGosh. Your Easter decorations make my single garland of bunnies on the front fence look very measly. I'll have to up my game for next Easter!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good one.
I always enjoy a tour of your house when it's decorated. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I enjoyed your fifty years post, as well. I just hadn't stopped to tell you so. Thank you for writing such a thoughtful perspective. :)
