The furry assistant

Cats are such a help...
... to the marker of exam papers...
... and do not stint...
... in their efforts to assist.

However, at least Di has left me. Though alas, Connie is still very much with my little mum, who remains foodless and hooked up to her drip.

  1. Yes, cats are very good at laying to every scrap of paper. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Sorry about your mum. hope she is not complaining to much.

  2. Sorry to hear things digestive are not quite right at your place.
Get back to normal good wishes flying your way to both of you.

Looking at the photos...have you got 2 garden seats..a blue and another ? ...new? Nice iris.
"Hi puss cat boys," - keep up the good marking.

  3. Goodness me, Ali, how observant you are! No, the old chap decided that he'd painted and mended the old bench often enough and we bought a new one.

  4. I hope for good news about your mother - sounds quite worrying, from the little you have said.

  5. Dogs also are very keen to assist and are even au fait with modern technology (ie. they will sit on a laptop or keyboard as readily as on a book or newspaper).

Glad you're feeling better and hope your mum gets some relief very soon.

  6. One of our cats prefers shredding paper to sitting on it which has caused us a few problems.

Thank goodness you've managed to get rid of Di. Hope Connie gets the message soon, too.

  7. When I read your posts in my reader, they are delivered as last in, first out. So, your Connie and Di comment completely confused me. Until I read your next post, so thank you for clarifying in reverse! Happily Di has left. Now, if Connie would just follow, you could have REAL visitors! ;-)

  9. I hope your Mum is not in too much discomfort and that she will soon feel better again.

A good job I`m not marking exams any more. Lucy cat loves shredding paper and biting off the edges of the page......

  10. Do hope you and your mother feel better soon, it is so easy to take our wellness for granted usually isn't it? Our cats like to play with pens too!
