Mmph hmph.

Last Wednesday there was a thunderstorm and since then, we've had no internet at home.

I feel very bereft!

I can't blog.

Sob.

Naughty Virgin (there's an oxymoron for you) aren't fixing it. Well, they claim they will. But they haven't done so.

Sob.

Ah well. I'm still reading a few blogs at lunchtimes at work but am gagged. Mmph. Hmph.

Writing this at work now. Got to go.

Waving at you...

  1. Virgin Media will tell you anything. Only when an engineer actually comes to the house will you hear the unvarnished truth - in our case, not a temporary fault to be repaired by 2 - no, 4 - no, 6 -no, tomorrow (repeat ad nauseam) but a massive break in the main cable covering many miles, and awaiting parts from the USA that will take at least 2 weeks to arrive..... Grrrrr.

    Hope you are back soon!

  3. Oh dear! That would be the thunderstorm that I and my entire family slept through. Sleeping the sleep of clear consciences, obviously. Hope Virgin sort you out soon.

  4. And the wave continues from across the pond! How are you coping without the internet??? I would be catatonic, I fear!

  8. Oh dear! Is this worse than a busted ankle??? It could be! I could never do without the Internet. If it's down for an hour I go crazy. You have my deepest sympathy. Hugs to the kitties.

  9. Oh No -- I've been wondering where you've been -- I just assumed taking it easy with that ankle. I hope it's feeling better!

  10. Ours has been off since last week too but BT is putting back this morning (I hope). Our other telephone line was also off completely for a week before that - great relief as M-in-law couldn't make any calls!
Hope you're is back on soon. Waving madly in your direction..

  11. oh no! been missing you. I get very upset if internet goes off. Actually I'm a bit shocked how addicted I've become so maybe a period of forced abstinence can be beneficial...??

  13. I know exactly how you feel (remember my rant last year when we lost our internet connection?). You feel like your right arm has been cut off. Waving from Down Under.
