I had some friends for coffee this morning. Before they arrived, my little furry cannonballs and I had our usual sort of playtime. Would you like to see some of the things we did? First look at the picture above and then the other pictures.
I just sit here giggling. But, oh my, that last picture is a little frightening! Scruff did a few catwalks on the banisters too at their age and it used to worry me alot. Now, he's just too fat, so it's not a problem!
Loved the kittens. Reminds me a bit of Gina's cat, who tends to pounce out at times, but spends most of her time eyeing visitors warily, eyes as big as saucers. Cats are rather wonderful. Cats will be cats though, and are sometimes worse than puppies. At least they don't climb the curtains! Our poor old cat went to God last Christmas Day. We are petless at the moment, but I could be tempted. I need to get rid of the travel bug, first, though
For the first time, I have actually sat and read your blog through today, always excusing myself with not having the time. Well, today I decided to make time! What a wonderful way to spend time. Thank you. I shall now really starton mine - if Ican get the *** photo upload to work! Don't you just hate Amerispeak on the computers. I am always swearing at their spelling!
Those kittens are quite hilarious, though the pic taken from the stair bottom quit gave me heart failure! I am catching up on your blog after vacation and will tell you that I read 65 blogs, so you are not strange. A few are strictly shopping sale-type blogs though, so nothing deep or entertaining to read there.
I always want to send the school newsletters back with corrections made in red pen, so I understand your grammar issues.
I'm trying to decide whether kittens - a pair of them, no less - are darling and engaging, or a quick recipe for having one's nerves whittled down to brittle shards.
Isabelle, Madison WI is about 2 hours away. My husband went to school there... undergrad and 2 masters (geology). It is a fun, fun city. Lots to do and great art fairs, etc. Boyd's sister and her family live there. Boyd's there frequently as he's on a number of state boards, etc. Joni The kittens are little rascals... so cute.
Your babies are growing up! such a daring pair....

ReplyDeleteI swear, those kittens are worse time wasters than babies!
ReplyDeleteThey'll never tell!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid of heights and the kitty on the bannister made my knees weak.

PS Did you see your Blogger award on my site yesterday?
Judging from the original position of the little vase, my verdict is deliberate sabotage and vandalism on the part of the (stunt) kitties.
ReplyDeleteI hope your vase survives the continual onslaught. Oh, you didn't think that would be the last time, did you?

LOL -- so of course I made an error -- that should be quite, not quit!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad the vase survived.
I think you need some sort of transparent panel across the front of that shelfy thing, Mum.
