My scripts are throwing up disappointingly few really silly answers but there have been some nice invented words, such as:

* finction
* rememarable
* sensicle
* supposably
* competivity
* grosely ( I think the student meant a combination of "gross" and "grisly" - computer games can be grosely, he claimed.)
* frustantedly

43 scripts to go. I must be sensicle and get on with them, no matter how frustranted I feel about it.

  1. Is a 'finction' a make-believe social occasion?

  2. I guess we all misunderestimated the entertainumbility of your current crop of students.

  3. Excellent work. You presented your words and then used them in a sentence. Your teacher would be proud!

    (I wouldn't be surprised if supposably appears in the dictionary someday soon -- I hear people say that one every now and then.)

  4. I think I would quite like to grow a sensicle as a bodily appendage.

  5. Anonymous1:49 pm

    Lovely! That made me chuckle.

  6. As I have been reading your posts, lately, I must say "Wow" you have a very full plate! Much going on in your life. I haven't popped on blogs lately. I am rather behind, and I apologize, in expressing sympathy for your aunt, congrats on the pending little boy and wedding, and more congrats on retirement! Phew-I need a nap just thinking of it all! Many, many hugs!!
