How to have fun in a sandpit

You fill up a pail with sand.

Granny turns it upside down. You have a sand pie! You add a bit to the top, just to improve it.

And then you knock it down! Simple.

  1. And you grin and ask Granny to do it all over again!

  3. Knocking it down is the best part, I suspect!

  4. A sandbox and a willing Granny. What else does a wonderful grandson need?

  6. Apparently that cute boy is experiencing summer weather. It's rainy and cold here today -- Scotland weather!

  7. Building sandcastles is one of the things I definitely miss , now I've retired . And the glee of those who knock them down .

  9. I hope that weather holds---I'll be over soon! I had thought I'd need my winter woollies....May have to pack some summer clothes after all! Grandson looks like he might be following in his auntie's footsteps! Or maybe he'd be more comfortable getting a "tactah" in there than designing castles!
