When I was one...

... I had just begun. To be more accurate, I began a year ago today. Granny feels that it's been an action-packed year, and not all in a good way. However, I cheer everyone up.

Unfortunately my Worcester Nanny, Worcester Gramps, Worcester Uncle, Auntie Daughter 2, Uncle Son and Great Granny couldn't celebrate in person with me today. But I had fun all the same.

And my first taste of cake.

I like cake. Num num num, as I remarked at the time.

  1. My youngest grandchild, Stephen, is nearly two. They grow up too fast, but they do bring so much joy into the world, into their little world, don't they.

  5. Happy 1st birthday to him, he gets lovelier day by day! I have been a little out of the loop, so I will also belatedly wish you a happy birthday, some congratulations on your son's wedding (and thanks for showing the dancing men in kilts, much appreciated !) and some commiserations on your mum's ill-health. I hope your 'interesting times' settle down a bit now.

It's nice to see some good things happening in your world, Isabel. (We don't get to see many kilts in Wales!)
