Twenty-four little hours... .
Oh ye of little faith!
(Did I mention it to them? Well, yes, I fear I did. I popped my head round the door and said - "Your sign - has anyone mentioned the spelling mistake?" and three voices chorused "Yes!"
Our area is quite heavily populated by retired people with nothing much to do.)
Oh well done! I care, Lizzie (comment on last post) though not a teacher!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Good on you! And on the people who were so quick to change it. Very sensible really; that kind of error can seriously undermine consumer confidence!
ReplyDeleteOh, haha. I totally missed the spelling -- I was focused on the missing word "of". Maybe it's not really needed?
ReplyDeleteI also care about such things. A colleague once asked me how I remembered which stationary/ery was which. I remember being quite young when I realised that 'e' for 'envelopes' would do the trick!
ReplyDeleteThey haven't updated their website yet!
ReplyDeleteWELL PLAYED! I would totally have sent them an email from New York if they hadn't moved to correct so fast. 8-) I absolutely abhor misspelled advertisements and signs. Don't even get me started on newspaper articles!
ReplyDeleteOh literacy, thy name is Isabelle.
