Smiley boy

A year ago, we were only just getting used to the idea that this little chap would be joining the family. Indeed, we didn't know that he was going to be a chap. Now look at him - he's finding his feet in more ways than one.
What a smiley boy. I hope that he retains his sunny disposition. Meantime I take every opportunity to cuddle him. One of those years, he may not be so amenable to this.
This afternoon, he and I went out for a walk. He chatted a lot. Mainly he said, "Aaaaa."

  1. He's SOOOO cute Isabelle. He looks like his Granny ;-D. Did K make his cute little sweater?

  2. He is remarkably cheerie! My cousins' baby was born close to him and is decidedly mellow-and-happy, but your grandbaby looks like he's saying "wheeeeee!" in lots of his photos.

Tell daughter 1 he is causing a lot of clanging.

  3. I just love the fact that now you are BOTH retired, you can enjoy him every moment his mother can spare him! I was an auntie when I was 8, and have 8 nieces and nephews, and know just how quickly they grow out of the cuddle stage!

  4. What a joy he is... and it's just crazy the way time flies! Seems like he just arrived yesterday. Thanks for visiting, Isabelle. :)

  5. Now that Mr. L is home full time I can see by the shortness of this post we will see less of that sunny boy as you will be too busy having fun with him. I hope he has lots of brothers/sisters and cousins to keep all in hectic happiness!

  9. No, Thimbleanna, the stripy jumper was made by a Ravelry friend of Daughter 1.

And Grandson is not going to be a Neanderthal teenager, Jennifer!
